Project brief: Create an event that celebrates the heritage and nostalgia of the Roger & Gallet brand whilst forming a platform to launch the latest product line ‘Aura Mirabilis’. The event needs to accommodate up to 80 guests across two seated sessions where presentations and product reveal will take place.
Result: An imposing statement venue in the heart of London was selected for this event with three rooms being transformed into a Palace of Versailles style art gallery and ballroom. The event was broken down into three different zones, each of which had its own style and purpose. As guests arrived they entered into the first zone which was dressed in the style of an art gallery. The walls were adorned with giant gilt frames housing pictures from the original Roger & Gallet historic archive, with further historic elements showcased in beautiful glass plinths and display cases spanning the length of the room, giving guests the opportunity to view original perfume bottles, soaps and even documentation signed by Napoleon himself. The second zone transported guests to an opulent flower stall with walls dressed in fresh cut flowers, topiary balls, bay trees and other planting creating a further backdrop, perfect for photographs and social media snaps including teh crazed GIF machine. The final zone was designed to represent the freshness and botanical elements within the product. Large round tables were dressed with simple white linen and caped with elegant floral installations. Windows were dressed with fresh cut flowers whilst two giant blossom trees dominated the room.
