A VERY SPECIAL BARMITZVAH
THEMED WITH A HINT OF SOUTH AMERICAN 'FAVELA CHIC'
Project brief: To design, build and create the ‘magic’ for a barmitzvah in the centre of London’s Hyde Park. The clients love of South America is to be reflected throughout the event, with elements of South American culture, food and lifestyle making an appearance.
Result: The creative team at VISOOR took the clients interest in South America and applied this to the overall event design and production. The venue was zoned out into different areas designed to provide entertainment and interest to the guests, with areas dedicated to children’s activities, eating, drinking and performance. The main focal point within the event was the interpretation of a Rio's shanty town. Structures were built using brightly coloured reclaimed wood, corrugated iron and bamboo all draped in palm leaves and embellished with festoon lighting and brightly coloured lanterns. Traditional British flower boarders within the venue grounds were transformed into lavish tropical rainforest, planted with Musa Palms, Bamboo and tropical flowers creating a picturesque backdrop for the guests to enjoy.
